Buď sláva, česť a chvála Tebe, Kráľ,
  Vykupiteľ, Kristus!
  To tebe deti s kvetmi
  spievajú zbožne Hosanna.

Ty si Kráľ Izraela,
vznešený Dávidov potomok.
Prichádzaš v mene Pánovom,
Ty, Kráľ náš požehnaný.

Na výsostiach ťa chvália zástupy nebešťanov
a ľudia smrteľní na zemi,
stvorenie všetko s nimi.

Židovský národ vyšiel
oproti tebe s palmami.
My ťa teraz vítame hymnom a sľubmi, prosbami.

Oni ti vtedy spievali
a Ty si kráčal k utrpeniu.
Naše piesne dnes, Kráľu,
znejú Ti iba na slávu.

Keď sa ti oni zaľúbili,
aj našu zbožnosť si obľúb.
Kráľ dobrý, Kráľ láskavý,
Ty v dobrom vždy máš záľubu.
