              1. Jak marná světská sláva
a všechny schopnosti,
vždyť nic, co člověk dává,
nás soudu nezprostí.
Jen láska nebes Pána
má věčné trvání,
nám k spáse byla dána,
před zlým nás ochrání.

2. Ať pravdu umím hlásat,
svět vírou přemáhám,
ať všech se držím zásad
i celé Písmo znám,
tím nectím Pána svého,
co z lásky nečiním,
bez pravé lásky Jeho
jsem kovem zvučícím.

3. Té věčné lásky pramen
je Ježíš Kristus sám,
On základní je kámen,
my tvořit máme chrám.
Jen tehdy Krista známe,
v Něm berem sílu svou,
když z lásky bratru dáme
vždy ruku pomocnou.
