              Jakiż to przyjaciel Jezus,
Wszystkie grzechy poniósł sam,
Obdarował wielką łaską,
Prośby wszystkich słucha rad.

Jakże często pokój tracisz,
Niepotrzebnie cierpisz sam,
Kiedy zapomnisz o tym,
Aby przyjść przed Zbawcy tron.

Jeśli próby, pokuszenia,
Zmartwień moc przygniata cię,
Nigdy o tym nie zapomnij,
Aby przyjść przed Zbawcy tron.

Chcesz mieć swego przyjaciela,
Jezus, On chce z tobą być,
On zna wszystkie twe słabości,
Tylko przyjdź przed Jego tron.

Jesteś słaby, ociężały,
Ciężar twój przygniata cię,
Drogi Zbawca ci pomoże,
Tylko przyjdź przed jego tron.

Choć odejdą przyjaciele,
Jezus zawsze wiernym jest.
W jego rękach masz podporę,
On pocieszy w każdy czas.
