Je jeden hlas, co měl by znít
Je jedna píseň k zpívání
Je jedno Jméno, hodné vzývání
Nad zlato poklad vzácnější
Král na trůnu nejvyšším
Jemu chvála celým nebem zní

  Má jméno Ježíš, přítel hříšných
  Ježíš, Ježíš, přítel můj

Je pokoj, jenž strach zahání
Láska, co roste dáváním
Naděje, která smrtí nekončí
Bůh, který nám rozumí
Přítel, co nikdy nezradí
Jediné Jméno, v němž je spasení

His name is Jesus, friend of sinners
  Jesus, Jesus, friend of mine
