              Jeg går aldri, aldri mer
til Egyptens land (2x)
Trelldomstiden er forbi,
jeg er herlig løst og fri,
jeg går aldri, aldri mer
til Egyptens land.

Jeg var bundet fast med
lenker i Egyptens land (2x)
Men min Jesus kom dit ned,
skjenket glede, liv og fred,
Jeg går aldri, aldri mer
til Egyptens land.
