Keď cesta za Pánom tak neschodná je,
skús piesňou Ho nasledovať,
to Satana zlostí, keď žalm viery znie,
Pán Ježiš ho rád počuje.

// Vždy so spevom kráčaj, brat môj, haleluja. //
To neznesie Satan, keď žalm viery znie,
  Pán Ježiš ho rád počuje.

Ak vojdeš raz trebárz do väzenia brán,
len neprestaň dôverovať.
Keď Pavel a Sílas si spievali tam,
Pán Ježiš bol oslávený.

Aj muž Boží Daniel šiel do jamy lvov,
však iste mal pieseň na rtoch.
Niet strach, ani smútok, ni starosť, ni bôľ,
keď s nami je láskavý Boh.

Hľa mládencov čakala pec ohnivá
a vo viere smelo tam šli.
Kým všemocný Hospodin nás ostríha,
svet ničím nás nezastraší.
