              Kto zbadal húfy anjelov,
čo s piesňou k zemi letia?
Kto spoznal v lone Márie
to krásne spiace dieťa?

  Kráľ kráľov, Najvyšší,
  dnes človekom sa stáva!
  Kto ústa otvorí
  a začne spievať: „Sláva!"?

Kto dal sa jasnou hviezdou viesť,
keď cestu k jasliam hľadal?
Kto zrakom viery uvidel,
čo túžobne si žiadal?

Kto prijal vzácnu Božiu zvesť,
že v Ňom je spása naša?
Kto môže vyznať s radosťou,
že našiel Mesiáša?
