              Käyn kohti Sinua,
oi Herrani,
tietäni viitoittaa
pyhä ristisi.
Virteni matkalla
soi täynnä toivoa.
Käyn aina, Herrani,
kohti Sinua.

Kun päivä pilvinen
tien pimentää,
kun synkkä, raskas
yö usein yllättää,
niin katseen
kaipaavan
taivaalle kohotan.
Käyn aina, Herrani,
kohti Sinua.

Suo, että näkisin
tien taivaaseen,
vaikka se peittyisi
vaivaan, murheeseen.
Lohduta sanalla,
uskoa vahvista.
Käyn aina, Herrani,
kohti Sinua.
