Hajlékom a föld, mit ró a lábam,
fölöttem az ég végtelen,
ezt az utamat kíséretükben járom.
Bárhová megyek, jó barátok,
köztük élem itt életem,
amíg egyszer majd átlépek a végső határon.

  Lábaim a földet itt bemérik,
  tekintetem felszalad az égig,
tudom, merre visz ez a vándorlás,
  egyszerre az otthonom két ország.

Láttam e világ sok csodáját,
élveztem a fényt, friss havat,
hűs nyári esőt, az égen nyíló szivárványt.
Láttam az idő gyors folyását,
néha vészjósló árnyakat,
mégse félek én, mert az álmom nem puszta ábránd.
