Látod, újra este van, hozzád száll most halk szavam,
Mindenségnek Istene, téged dicsér énekem.
Köszönöm ezt a napot, annyi szépet s jót hozott.
Köszönöm a napsütést, fényét szórta szerteszét.

Kérlek, ó jó Uram, add meg,
  Fényeddé váljak, jeled lehessek!
  Kérlek, Szentlelked küldd el,
  Ő vezessen végig életemen!

Uram, mindent köszönök, bánatot és örömöt,
Legyen rajtam szent kezed, óvja, védje életem!
Szeretném, ha szeretnél, minden szavad érteném,
Életemben követném, s végül hozzád érkezném.
