              1. Len lístie máš! Znie vážny hlas,
to žiali Spasiteľ:
Tak málo si ma miloval a málo pre mňa pracoval,
čím čas si vypĺňal?
Len lístie máš, len lístie máš!

2. Len lístie máš a krásny vzhľad,
kde je však ovocie?
Ak milosti čas zanedbáš a márnotratne premrháš,
čo v súdu deň mi dáš?
Len lístie máš, len lístie máš!

3. Len lístie máš! Však rád ťa mám
a nádej chcem ti dať:
Slúž svojim blížnym ochotne,
so stálou láskou, nezištne,
svoj život zasväť mne, tak ovocie mi odovzdáš.
