              Loor a ti, mi Dios, en esta noche,
Por todas tus bondades de este día;
Guárdame, y sean tus potentes alas,
Rey de los reyes, defensa mía.

De cuantas faltas hoy he cometido
Perdóname, Señor, por tu Hijo amado;
Contigo, con el prójimo y conmigo
Quede, antes de dormir, reconciliado.

Enséñame a vivir, que no me espante
Más la tumba que el lecho de reposo;
Enséñame a morir, para que pueda,
Del juicio el día, despertar glorioso.

¡Oh! logre reposar en ti mi alma
Mis párpados cierren ducle sueño,
Sueño que pueda más vigor prestarme
Para servirte al despertar, mi Dueño.
