              Mahabesar, dengarkan ratap umatMu
yang disampaikan saat tersesak.
Mahakasih, jangan palingkan wajahMu:
bala dan derita mencekam.

  Selamatkan umatMu, Tuhan,
  dari jurang kehancuran yang kelam
  dan lindungi neg'ri tercinta
  dari badai kemelut yang menerjang.

Ampuni kami orang yang berdosa
yang melecehkan kasih sayangMu.
Ajari kami kebenaran kerajaanMu
agar rukun damai terjelma.

  Selamatkan umatMu, Tuhan,
  dari jurang kehancuran yang kelam
  dan lindungi neg'ri tercinta
  dari badai kemelut yang menerjang.

Walau sesak, kami berpengharapan
Engkau penolong umat yang lemah.
Kami serahkan s'luruh jiwa raga padaMu:
t'rima doa kami, ya Tuhan.

  Selamatkan umatMu, Tuhan,
  dari jurang kehancuran yang kelam
  dan lindungi neg'ri tercinta
  dari badai kemelut yang menerjang.
