              1. Mysli na tie davy ľudí
preplnených veľkomiest,
pohľad na ne súcit budí,
treba im zvesť spásy niesť.
Každé srdce skrýva túžbu
po živote blaženom.
Nastal čas pre vernú službu
v poli k žatve dozretom.

2. V Kristovi sa Boh sám z neba
jedným z ľudí navždy stal,
biedu našu vzal na seba,
cestu k sláve ukázal.
V hanbe kríža za nás on sám
vypil kalich hrozných múk,
nádej spásy pramení nám
z prebodnutých jeho rúk.

3. Kristus volá ubolených
z všetkých končín, sveta strán:
Poďte ku mne, unavení,
ja vám odpočinok dám.
Od námahy, práce, znoja
u mňa pokoj nájdete,
moje slová rany zhoja,
ak ich vierou prijmete.
