              1. Mysli na ty davy lidí
přeplněných velkoměst,
pohled na ně budí soucit.
Kdo jim má zvěst spásy nést?
Každé lidské srdce touží
blaženě a šťastně žít,
s láskou bližním svým vždy sloužit
také ty buď hotov jít.

2. V Ježíši když vládce nebe
člověkem se pro nás stal,
bídu naši tiše snášel,
cestu k slávě ukázal.
V hanbě kříže, ponížení
nesl tíhu hříchů mých,
abych našel svoji spásu
v Jeho dlaních zraněných.

3. Ježíš volá obtížené
ze všech dálných světa stran:
„Pojďte ke mně, unavení,
já vám odpočinek dám."
Po námaze, těžké práci
v Kristu pokoj najdeme,
On dá sílu, zhojí rány,
když ho vírou přijmeme.
