Na nebeských vtáčkov pozri, ako voľne lietajú,
veď živí ich Otec dobrý, nedostatku nemajú.
My sme predsa viac než vtáci, a preto sa radujme:
čo nám dáva, to nám stačí, Jemu vždy dôverujme!

Na ľalie poľné pozri
a na krásu kvietkov hľaď!
Odieva ich Otec dobrý
do nádherných, pestrých šiat.
My sme predsa viac než kvietky,
a preto sa radujme:
opatrí Boh svoje dietky,
Jemu vždy dôverujme!

Keď kráľovstvo Božie všetci
predovšetkým hľadáme,
Boh nám pridá časné veci,
len Ho vrúcne vzývajme.
My sme predsa dietky Jeho,
a preto sa radujme:
máme Otca láskavého,
Jemu vždy dôverujme!
