              Na nebi žiarili
sláva a moc,
svätý spev anjelov
oživil noc.
Nadšene spievali,
pastierom hlásali:
„Pán Ježiš zostúpil,
nebeský Hosť!"

V betlemských jasličkách
položený,
spočinul Mesiáš
vytúžený.
Nebesia opustil,
chudobu okúsil,
aby svet vykúpil
z hriechov a vín.

Pane náš, Ježišu,
príďže i k nám,
srdcia nám povznášaj
ku nebesiam!
Nech svet už pozná raz,
že si Ty poklad náš,
vesmíru, smrti i života Pán.
