Nežne a láskave Ježiš nás volá,
pozýva teba i mňa.
Pozri, jak pri bráne túžobne čaká,
spasiť chce teba aj mňa.

  Už poď, už poď,
  zomdlený pútnik už domov poď.
Nežne a láskavo Ježiš ťa volá:
z bludných ciest domov sa vráť.

Načo tu váhať, keď Pán Ježiš prosí?
Keď prosí teba i mňa?
Nezhrdaj pyšne i Pán predivnú milosť
ponúka tebe i mne.

S velikou rýchlosťou uletia roky,
zájde deň tebe aj mne.
Pri hrobe skoro snáď doznejú kroky,
skončí čas tebe aj mne.
