              Noc v širý už padá kraj
a slnko v mrakov diaľ
zapadlo zve čera.
// Na nebi hviezdny svit,
že šťastní môžme byť,
rozpráva dôvera.  //

Svet stíchne a zaspáva,
bdie ruka láskavá nad tebou,
nado mnou.
// Do svojej pravice
Boh vzal hviezd tisíce,
v Ňom naša ochrana.  //

Keď pôjdeme aj my spať,
daj ráno zas nám vstať
pre lásku najvyššiu.
// Buď stále s nami sám,
v nás buduj svoj si chrám,
ó, Pane Ježíšu!  //
