              Odvráť, ó Bože,
svoj veľký hnev od nás,
nedaj, by nastal
ťažkostí plný čas,
neplať nám podľa
našej neprávosti
v svojej prísnosti.

Ak by si na nás
pokutu chcel uviesť
pre naše hriechy,
kto by ju mohol zniesť?
Pred Tvojím hnevom
v základoch trasú sa
zem i nebesá!

Odpusť nám hriešnym,
zľutuj sa, ó Pane,
podľa zákona
nesúď nás, voláme,
veď Tvoja láska
zlom sa neodpláca,
len dobré dáva.

Stvoriteľu náš,
Pán sveta celého,
ach nehnevaj sa
na tvora slabého!
Veď čože sme my?
len tiež krátky a prach,
nezavrhni nás.

Nezavrhni ľud,
ktorý si Ty stvoril,
Kristus vykúpil,
Duch Svätý posvätil.
Buď milostivý
pre Syna milého,
a zbav nás zlého.
