              Om Guds godhet som forlater,
om det blod som rense kan.
Ja om Jesus vil jeg synge,
for hos Ham jeg nåde fant.

  Kor:
  Gjennom Blodet, gjennom Blodet,
jeg fra all min synd ble fri - halleluja.
  Jesus brakte full forsoning
  på sitt kors på Golgata.

Når i lyset ifra korset,
jeg sto hjelpeløs i nød.
Fikk Guds kjærlighet jeg skue,
åpenbart ved Jesu død.

O, du tornekronte konge,
takk for frelsen i Ditt navn.
Takk at du min synd forlater,
takk for åpen faderfavn.
