              Otvorte už brányhra-dieb kamenných,
vpusťte Kristado sŕdc svojich studených,
otvárajte, aby mohol vojsť!
Zložte každé bremä, starosť,
únavu, On zná biedy, lieči ranu boľavú.
Pripravujte cestu, aby vojsť už mohol slávy Kráľ.

Hľa ide Kráľ náš, Kráľ náš,
  urovnajte preto cesty zlé.
Hľa ide Kráľ náš, Kráľ náš,
  naprávajte svoje cesty krivé,
  cesty zlé!

Pozdvihnite svoje srdcia zna-vené,
posilnite svoje ruky zomdlené,
otvorte Mu, aby mo-hol vojsť!
Nie je doba k spánku,je čas nabrať síl,
pominula noca deň sa priblížil.
Pripravujte cestu, aby vojsť už mohol slávy Kráľ!
