              1. Pán Ježiš pre mňa najdrahší
na celom svete je,
to jeho meno vzácne je
a milo srdcu znie.
Keď nad hlavou mám čierny mrak,
upieram k nebu viery zrak.
Keď smútok mám, teší ma sám Priateľ môj.

2. Pán Ježiš tíši bolesti
a súcit so mnou má,
chce pokoj svoj mi darovať,
on biedu moju zná.
Zakúsil som, že vždycky včas
posiela pomoc zas a zas,
hoc idem tmou, je predo mnou Priateľ môj.

3. Pán Ježiš je môj záchranca,
vždy s ním chcem verne ísť
a jemu z lásky, vďačnosti
svoj život zasvätiť.
V ňom je môj cieľ, to dobre viem,
jemu za všetko ďakujem.
On rád ma má, vždy o mňa dbá, Priateľ môj.
