              Rosu dajte, ó nebesá!
Otcovia tak volali,
aby sa narodil Mesiáš
v modlitbách túžobne žiadali.

Rosu dajte, ó nebesá!
I my dnes tak volajme!
Kristov čas, hľa, približuje sa,
o milosť vrúcne Ho žiadajme!

Tak od mnohých hriechov
schneme ako kvieťa v páľave,
pomôž nám, zošli rozvlaženie,
zahoj všetky rany boľavé.

Rosu dajte, ó nebesá!
Príď k nám, Kriste Ježiši,
zasľúbenia nech naplnia sa,
ktoré si dal, Pane najvyšší.

Svoje slovo a sviatosti
čisté medzi nami chráň!
Buď nám zdrojom pravej radosti,
v našich srdciach zbuduj
si svoj chrám!

Rosu dajte, ó nebesá,
príď, ó Pane Ježiši,
slabé telo keď k smrti klesá,
buď nám aj v tej chvíli najbližší!

Do slávy nás prijmi svojej,
telo nech odpočinie,
keď ukončia sa všetky boje,
radosť naša sa nepominie.

Rosu dajte, ó nebesá,
daj, nech sa nám tak stane,
k Tebe samému modlíme sa,
vypočuj prosby naše, Pane!
