              Shoul Isroilning shohi,
Katta odam edi,
Lek tushunmadi gunohga
Jazo borligini.

  Dovuddek Xudoyim bilan
  Yashashni xohlayman,
  Xudoga xizmat qilishni
  Dovuddek istayman.

Dovud qoʻylarni boqardi
U juda yosh edi,
U shoh boʻldi, chunki
Xudo yurakka qaraydi.

Goʻliyot kuchli boʻlsa ham ,
Lekin u yengildi.
Dovud Xudoga ishondi
Va gʻalaba qildi.

Dovudning doʻsti Yoʻnatan
Unga sodiq edi.
Xudo ham bizga aytadi
Hammani sevishni.

Dovud Shoulga hech qachon
Yomonlik qilmadi.
Sen ham Xudodan kuch soʻra,
Kechir dushmanlarni.
