              Skjønne morgen når
den frelste skare
løftes mot sky.
Gud i evighet skal
oss bevare i staden ny.

kor: Vi reiser hjem til Jesus,
  vi reiser hjem,
  Når Han kommer, Halleluja
er vi der hvor Jesus er.

Vi er kun en liten stund
her nede på denne jord.
Snart vil Jesus oss
til Him'len lede
Hvor Han selv bor.

Ofte kjenner vi den tunge
byrde som verden gir.
Når vi møter
sjelens gode hyrde,
Han oss befrir.
