              Skončil deň a príde noc,
zem už ide spať,
vie, že nad ňou Božia moc
chce na stráži stáť.

Jeden bdie a nesie sám
čo nás trápiť chce,
vo dne, v noci dáva nám
pomoc v samote.

Kriste, hrad môj prepevný,
vypočuj ma zas,
daj mi spánok spokojný,
chráň ma v nočný čas.

Nado mnou je Tvoja moc,
Ty si môj, ja viem,
verím, že sa dobrá noc
zmení v dobrý deň.
