              Susuzlar suları nasıl özlerlerse,
Canımda Seni öyle özler, ey Tanrı.

Kuruyan topraklar yağmura hasrettir.
Ben ise yalnız Sana hasret, ey RAB'bim.

Köleler hürlüğü nasıl beklerlerse,
Bende Seni öyle hep beklerim, ey İsa.

Gel artık ey RAB'bim, Mesih'im Kıralım.
Bitsin bekleyiş, özlem hasret, ey Tanrı.
