              Suuri
rakkauden meri
syntisille aukeni:
elon Herran
pyhä veri
Golgatalla virtaili.

  Golgatalla, Golgatalla.
  "Se on täytetty!"
  Kuule huuto
  Golgatalla.
  Karitsalle
  kiitos soi.

Sitä suurta
rakkautta
ei voi kieli kertoa.
Taivas yhtyy
kiitoksehen
pelastuksen voitosta.

Isän sydän syntisille
Golgatalla aukesi.
Elonvirrat
voimakkaasti
sydämihin vuotavi.
