              Taivaassa, ratki taivaassa
on autuus määrätön.
Enkelten pyhäin seurassa
on riemu ääretön,
ja kasvoista
niin kasvoihin
myös nähdään
Herra korkehin,
Herramme Sebaot.

Taivaassa, ratki taivaassa
iäinen päivä on.
Se valossansa kirkkaassa
myös voittaa auringon.
Se päivä kirkas, loistava
ja iäisesti paistava
on Herra Sebaot.

Taivaassa, ratki taivaassa
pyhien seura on,
ja valittujen joukossa
soi riemu loputon.
Oi, jospa sinne pääsisin
ja kunniasi näkisin,
oi Herra Sebaot.

Taivaassa, ratki taivaassa
iäinen autuus on,
nyt ihmiskielin kertoa
on siitä mahdoton.
Se siintää
tänne päälle maan
kuin kuvastimeen
valoaan,
oi Herra Sebaot.
