              1. Tak vzácný je a milý
den svaté soboty,
v něm víra naše sílí
vždy z Boží dobroty.
Skloň v úctě svoje čelo
před Stvořitelem svým,
by v mysli tvojí znělo:
Je Vládcem nebeským.

2. V své sobotě nám radost
sám Pán chce z lásky dát
a vzít nám každou starost
a nám všem požehnat.
V ní, zřídlu tryskajícím,
jež v ráji pramení,
je láska žehnající
a Boží znamení.

3. Vznes výš se pevnou vírou
až k trůnu milosti,
ať zní již zemí širou
tvá píseň vděčnosti.
Tak vzdávej díky svoje
a zpívej s nadšením,
že Bůh ti z lásky zdroje
dá věčné spasení.
