              1. Tam na golgotských výšinách
sa preveľký div stal,
keď za nás hriešnych
Spasiteľ na kríži zomieral.

  Ref.: Tam na Golgote
zjavil nám moc lásky Boží Syn,
  kto tejto láske uverí,
  žiť bude večne s ním.

2. Kto z ľudí môže pochopiť,
čo vytrpel náš Pán,
keď k trónu slávy otvoril
nám cestu dokorán.

3. Za nás on zomrel,
prijal trest za naše prečiny.
Dlh za nás splatil
na kríži Baránok nevinný.

4. Smrť žiadny človek nezdolal,
hoc mnoho bolo snáh.
On, slávny Víťaz,
príbytok raz dá nám v nebesiach.
Len tebe patrí sláva Ristabilisci il mio cuore Тэнсьыд нимтӧ кыпӧда Aj keby nekvitol fík Как на небе песни ангельские Kun hätäilen, kun epäilen นิมิต Niech będzie chwała i cześć Rab Gücüm Ve Ezgimdir Gdy słońce zajdzie nad naszą ziemią
