Tengo un amigo que está conmigo,
Es Jesús, - es Jesús.
Quien me acompaña en el camino,
Es Jesús, - es Jesús.

Cristo sabe lo que me pasa,
  El dolor de mi corazón,
Echa mis dudas, alienta mi alma
Con su amor, - con su amor.

Si otros me dejan, jamás me deja
Mi Pastor, - mi Pastor.
Se compadece de mí en mis penas,
Mi Pastor, - mi Pastor.

En noche oscura Jesús me alumbra
Con su luz, - con su luz.
En pruebas duras Jesús me ayuda
Con su paz, - con su paz.
