              Už sa približuje doba,
dávno zasľúbil ju Pán,
že sa bude správa dobrá
hlásať všetkým krajinám.
Už sa dvíha slnko z mrakov,
už sa svetlo rozleje.
Duša bude horieť vďakou,
že sa plnia nádeje!

  Mizne nočná čierna tma,
  hviezda ranná žiari nám.
  Nech sa ozve pieseň víťazná,
  že sa blíži slávy Pán!

Už sa približuje doba,
dávno zasľúbil ju Pán,
mier a láska bude znova
ako rieka prúdiť k nám.
Slzy vyschnú, stíchnu zbrane,
stopy rán sa zahoja,
keď sa Vládcom naším stane
Ježiš, Knieža pokoja.

Už sa približuje doba,
dávno zasľúbil ju Pán,
že sa podľa Jeho slova
sny a túžby splnia nám.
Ľud, čo býval v tôni smrti,
náhle uzrie slnka svit,
z moci zlého vytrhnutý
bude s Bohom večne žiť!
