              Unos cielos siempre azules
No te prometió el Señor;
Ni perenne primavera
Con tu senda siempre en flor.

Ni un sol que, sin tormentas,
Brille siempre encantador,
Ni un gozo sin tristezas,
Ni una dicha sin dolor.

Pero si te ha prometido
Fortaleza celestial,
Inefable simpatía,
Y un amor que es inmortal.
