              Už slnko vychádza nad kraj,
chváľ Pána
hneď zrána,
bol Tvoja ochrana;
vďaku Mu vzdaj!

Ty, Bože, si mojím Strážcom,
buď so mnou nocou - dňom,
Tvoj anjel nech mi je
dnes ochrancom.

Pred diablom stále ma varuj,
keď myslím a činím;
Ty srdcu žiadúcu
pomoc daruj!

Za to Ťa budem ctiť, Pane,
sluha Tvoj, Bože môj,
v čas ranný, večerný,
i vždy. Amen.
