Waktu hari masih g'lap, alam masih sunyi,
ada burung bangunlah dan seg'ra bernyanyi.

Lihat, ada t'rang cerlang bagai matahari.
Laskar yang melihatnya takut, lalu lari.

Seorang malak turunlah lalu menggulingkan
batu bundar dan besar, batu kubur Tuhan.

Dan keluar Penebus dari kubur itu,
Ia masuk t'rang fajar dan hari baru.

Burung-burung di kebun nyanyi bergembira:
"Sungguh Yesus hiduplah, Amin, Haleluya!"
