              Zasľúbenia Pán Boh splní,
pravdivé, nemenné,
Kristovou krvou sú ony
slávne potvrdené.

  Všetko tu sklamať môže,
  pominú vrchy, more,
  zasľúbenia však Božie
  večné a pevné sú.

Či vidíš na hviezdnom nebi
Božiu moc, velebnosť?
Ver, ako Abrahám veril,
nádej len v Bohu zlož.

Hrejivé slniečka lúče
mračno keď zahalí,
dôveruj ďalej a skoro
svetlo ti zažiari.

Dôveruj, keď ťa svet vloží
do pece ohnivej,
teba tiež Ježiš, Syn Boží,
príde vychvátiť z nej!
