              1. Znie celým svetom jasný tón,
zo všetkých strán čuť hlasy,
že čoskoro už príde on,
náš Pán a Darca spásy.
Reč Božia všetkých varuje,
zo spánku budí spiacich,
čas žatvy prišiel zvestuje,
deň spasenia je vzácny.

2. Je radostné to posolstvo,
čo ľuďom nádej dáva,
že skončí sa už otroctvo,
nás domov očakáva.
Pán príde, zmizne smrti tieň,
čas sĺz sa nenavráti,
už skoro nastane ten deň,
keď Spasiteľ sa vráti.

3. Leť adventu tón radostný,
nes liek na sveta rany,
Pán splní sľub svoj slávnostný,
nuž otvorme mu brány.
On vydobyl nám víťazstvo,
buď Bohu česť a sláva!
Príď, Pane, tvoje kráľovstvo,
tvoj ľud ťa očakáva!
