              În bezna vieţii de păcat
Trăit-am Doamne îndurat
Dar azi la Tine vin cu dor
O, scump şi dulce Salvator.

  Isus la crucea Ta eu vin
  Şi vreau viaţa să Ţi-o-nchin
  // Primeşte Doamne, ruga mea
  Şi dă-mi în dar salvarea Ta! //

În valuri şi ispite-am fost,
Trăit-am viaţa fără rost...
De făr'delegi împresurat,
O, Doamne vin să fiu iertat.

În dragostea-Ţi mă-ncred acum,
Cu Tine voi merge pe-un drum
Şi cânt voios şi-s fericit
O, Doamne vin să fiu smerit.
