              1. Ó Bože, já chci modlitbou
nést v jitře k Tobě mysl svou.
Tys chránil v noci, sen jsi dal
a tělo, ducha zachoval.

2. Když den tmu noci zahání,
buď se mnou se svým žehnáním.
Ať každá moje vina, hřích,
je očištěna v ranách Tvých.

3. Má mysl se Ti oddává,
když všední práce nastává.
Můj život láskou posvěcuj
a ve všech zkouškách při mně stůj.

4. Dnes také veď mne Duchem svým,
ať Tobě vždycky náležím;
chci v boji víry věrný být
a vítězně jej dokončit.
