              Čo Mária Panna
z moci nášho Pána,
vo viere si istá,
že počala Krista,
spievala s radosťou;
to i v našich srdciach
zaznej s úprimnosťou.

Duša mi velebí
Pána Boha v nebi
za milosť zjavenú,
za radosť mi danú,
že mi poníženie
z daru Jeho lásky
slúži na spasenie.

Pre česť Jeho mena,
hľa, blahoslavená budem
medzi ľuďmi,
všetkými národmi,
dľa predivnej rady
Otca nebeského,
služobnica Jeho.

Nech to Božie meno
ctí každé koleno,
že rozprášil mocných,
ujal sa bezmocných,
hladných sám uhostil,
bohatých a pyšných
naprázdno prepustil.

Dietkam Izraela
poslal Spasiteľa.
To, čo bol zasľúbil,
v Kristovi aj splnil.
Zaujal sa svojho
potomstva slabého,
Ním vyvoleného.

Tak i my, kresťania,
chváľme vďačne Pána,
lebo nám z milosti
cestu do večnosti
zjavil - ľudu svojmu -
ako bol zasľúbil
dedičstvu Kristovmu.
