              Ľud Boží, vitaj nový čas,
Pán Boh nám nový rok dal zas,
vzdaj chválu, ďakuj milému
Otcovi večnému.

Ak ťa aj búrky predesia,
hľaď s dôverou na nebesá,
vzdaj chválu, ďakuj milému
Otcovi večnému.

Ver, v novom roku Kristus Pán
po cestách viesť ťa bude sám;
vzdaj chválu, ďakuj milému
Otcovi večnému.

Premôž strach z búrok, príboja,
pri nás je Knieža pokoja;
len spievaj: Bohu buď sláva!
On sa nami zostáva!
