                Te vagy a legdrágább nekem,
  Istenem, Te vagy az egyetlen!
  Egyedül érted dobog a szívem,
  Neked szól az énekem!

Miként szarvas a forrás hűs vizét,
úgy szomjazlak én!
Mint mező virága a jó esőt,
várlak én!

Fényedben járni oly jó nekem!
Csak benned bízom, Istenem - formáld az életem!

  A legdrágább kincs vagy nékem,
  az egyetlen Úr!
  Csak érted dobog a szív,
  mindig, fáradatlanul.
