              1. Bůh se v Kristu sklonil k nám,
spásu zjevil národům,
z bídy zve nás k výšinám,
světlo vzešlo pohanům.
Kéž by oheň pravdy v nás
Pán již v srdci zapálil,
dále šířil spásy jas,
aby druhé zachránil.

2. Pán když dílo vykonal,
svého Ducha poslal nám.
Kéž by každý z nás tak plál,
jako kdysi Ježíš sám.
Stále nesme lidem zvěst,
ohněm Ducha puzeni,
k Pánu že je chceme vést,
aby našli spasení.

3. Lásky zpěv zní staletím,
tón pro věky udává,
k písni té se přidat smím,
zpívat slova jásavá.
Žárem lásky zahoří,
s Pánem kdo se učí žít,
hříchu hradby rozboří,
v nebi s Kristem může být.
