              Dnes je v nebi radosť,
jasot nadšený,
domov kráča
hriešnik stratený!
Otec sa už náhli
prijať syna späť,
láskou svoju náruč
rozprestrieť.
Radosť, radosť v nebi, plesanie,
svätí spievajú i hudba znie.
Dnes je v nebi radosť,
jasot nadšený,
domov kráča hriešnik stratený!

Dnes je v nebi radosť,
skončil smútku čas,
stratený syn
našiel Otca zas.
Trápili ho hriechy,
osamote lkal,
Otec práva synovské mu dal.
Radosť, radosť v nebi, plesanie,
svätí spievajú i hudba znie.
Dnes je v nebi radosť!
Skončil smútku čas,
stratený syn našiel Otca zas.

Dnes je v nebi radosť!
K hostine sa stroj,
v dvorane ťa piesňou
zvíta zbor!
Rozhlasuje všade,
šíry svet nech zvie:
„Jeden hriešnik našiel spasenie!"
Radosť, radosť v nebi, plesanie,
svätí spievajú i hudba znie.
Dnes je v nebi radosť,
šíry svet nech zvie:
„Jeden hriešnik našiel spasenie!"
