              Hai umat manusia, siapkan hatimu dan sambut Mesias,
Juruselamatmu! 'kan datang segera
Terang dan kehidupan yang dijanjikan
Tuhan mengingat rahmatNya.

Terima Tamu Agung, siapkan jalanNya!
Semua batu sandung singkirkan segera.
Timbunilah lembah, ratakanlah yang tinggi,
Yang bengkok dan yang miring luruskan bagiNya!

Tuhan 'kan meninggikan yang suka merendah;
olehNya disingkirkan yang angkuh bermegah.
Yang tulus hatinya niscaya dilayakkan
Menyambut kedatangan Sang Raja Mulia.

Dimasa suci ini 'ku mohon padaMu:
Ya Yesus, Kau sendiri siapkan diriku.
Hatiku ubahlah, jadikanlah palungan
tempat 'ku mengagungkan namaMu s'lamanya.
