              Jak para život rozplýva sa,
priam vädne ako pekný kvet
a z mora času mladosť, krása
už vrátiť nevedia sa späť.
Aj národ starne v svojom behu,
zem vekom vrásky dostáva,
jar všetko má, aj dobu snehu,
počiatok má i skonáva.

Smrť tela nie je koniec duší,
hrob nie je žitia záverom.
Čas dielo Božie neporuší,
čo stvoril Boh, má nádej v Ňom.
Len komu silu dáva viera,
nič nemusí sa zlého báť
a nikdy, nikdy neumiera,
v Ňom večný život bude mať.
