              Keď sa priblížil čas nočný,
chválime Ťa, Bože večný,
ži si nás dňa minulého
chránil od všetkého zlého.

Odpusť všetky hriechy, Pane,
ktoré sú ti dobre známe:
Ochraňuj nás i tej noci
sám zo svojej božskej moci.

Daj nám tichý, pokojný sen,
zlé myšlienky od nás zažeň;
posväcuj, Pane, naše sny,
buď s láskou svojou prítomný.

Nuž, zostávaj, Kriste, s nami
i teraz i pri skonaní,
slovo Tvoje - svetlo jasné,
daj, nech pri nás nevyhasne

a v každej časnej úzkosti
dopraj nám trpezlivosti.
Amen, amen, daj to Pane,
nech sa to všetko tak stane.
