              Mnohí svätí proroci
Božiu zvesť hlásali,
z Ducha sily a moci
vidieť si žiadali
Kristov príchod na náš svet;
ten sa slávne splnil;
zachránil nás Ježiš z bied,
z hriechov nás vykúpil.

Kristus z nebies výsosti
k nám sa hriešnym znížil,
podal ruku z milosti,
aby nás povýšil
Spasiteľ náš jediný,
dielo spásy konal,
a všetkých ľudí hriešnych
ku pokániu volal.

Dobrotivý Pane náš,
prebuď nás k pokániu,
veď pre všetkých ľudí máš
spásu prichystanú;
Pane očakávaný,
daj nám svoju milosť,
v Tebe pre nás pramení
neskonala radosť.

Kriste, Kráľu nám daný,
veľký v moci, sláve,
ochraňuj nás, buď s nami,
veď po ceste pravej;
s Tebou keď spojení sme
vierou v časnej vlasti,
iste všetci prídeme
k Tebe do večnosti.
